Greetings to Treasurers, Presidents and Contacts.

It is my usual custom to contact you at this time with requests for your annual donations.
I am happy to tell you that this is not that letter.

We have and are being challenged during the years 2020 – 2021 in our daily living,
worship, volunteer life and sometimes just managing the shopping for essentials. I have
learned to appreciate so many small and large things that I had taken for granted. I give
thanks for the wonderful love and support I receive from our Lord and Saviour; I am
grateful and I hope all of you are thankful and continuing in your ministry of prayer,
fellowship by telephone, letter writing and the many technical services that are available
to us.

I am pleased to share with you the decision of the ACW Board, that we will not request
donations this year.

Our THANKOFFERING for 2021 is Canadian Food for Children, a large charity
inspired many years ago by Mother Theresa. Administrative costs are 2% of revenues,
and the charity reports spending no money on fundraising. For every $1 donated, 98
cents go to the cause. I do hope you can share this with your women and will support
this effort for 2021.

In 2020 you supported our outreach generously and I am pleased to share with you how
we distributed the funds.

Gifts to each of the Salvation Army Citadels in our 5 Deaneries

Under your Deanery Presidents name $300.00 each $1500.00
To the Anglican Church of Canada Giving with Grace $ 1425.00

If you have the funds to make a donation to the general funds of the ACW, it
would be most appreciated. Please indicate in the memo line either Donation
or Thank Offering.

All donations gratefully received
