After years of sitting through bullet points,

that most business professionals feel
unequipped to bring their presentations to

The lack of creativity and inspiration when

it comes to putting a presentation together
often leaves us defaulting to the ‘old’ way
of doing things.

As a result, what started as a great idea or

great content is let down by very average
presentations.

Transitions
Features
When used well, transitions
break that stop-start feeling.
What audiences really enjoy about using Prezi is a move
away from the “click new slide, click new slide” monotony
of PowerPoint to a more dynamic, free-flowing style of
content presentation. Stories, ideas and content aren't
usually discreet, they don't stop and start in a slide, so
having the artificial stop- start of a deck is a barrier to
both the delivery and audience comprehension of any
presentation.

At a more superficial level they can also look pretty cool,

providing a real ‘wow’ factor, especially on large screens
when well-used transitions have a big impact.

Animations
Features
Great animations stop things feeling static,
make them look more interesting and add a
sense of liveliness.
When we mention animations to clients the first response is usually “no
way”. Which is a perfectly valid response if the animations that come to
mind are 20-year-old Word Art graphics, bouncy balls, spinning stuff and
way, way too many clicks.

Used well, animations increase engagement when things are up on the

mobile-first
screen for a long time. In a mobile first environment we utilise the best
of mobile UI/UX design and look to translate those into presentations.

Design
Styles
Ideas, products and services
need great design.
The packaging of ideas is important as it
influences how we understand, relate to and
process those ideas.

Great design also signals to your audience that

you’re relevant and ahead of the curve. It
shows that you care about what you’re
presenting,
and have put in the time and effort to
make sure your presentation is engaging.
