BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM:


Bugs, worms, and bat poop.... Do you have what it takes? Join
your friends for a spine-tingling competition! Together, we will
compete to see who has the guts to overcome their wildest
fears. Bring your game face and put your fears to the test in
this fun game of Fear Factor. For grades 3rd-5th graders.
Registration is required as well as a completed Food Allergy
Form. Please contact Jessica for more information.

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM:

The purpose of this program is to create a safe environment that


encourages social interactions among 3-5th graders.

YOUTH PARTICIPATION: Teen volunteers will be in


charge of monitoring the “contestants” as they try to
complete each challenge at each station.

STAFF PARTICIPATION: A sign-up sheet would be sent


out via email asking if any staff member would like to
volunteer to bake and/or cook a fear factor food
DATE: Saturday, January 23, 2021 (***Pre-COVID World) challenge such as Jello Worms.

TIME: 2:30pm- 4:30pm

LICE PICKERS: In this game, contestants are
given a pair of tweezers and a cup. They are
challenged to pick up as much lice as possible

1. PRE-INTRODUCTIONS:

2. INTRODUCTIONS:
Welcome to GRADE SCHOOL FEAR FACTOR a spine-tingling
competition. This afternoon you will be faced with some of your
fears: worms, dirt, and dog food! Do you have what it takes!?

I am Jessica the Youth Service Librarian, and I am here with Mary


Ellen the Youth Service Coordinator at Nile Public Library. In
addition, we also have several of the library’s teen volunteers
who will be helping at each station.

There are 10 different challenges that you will be faced with.


These include:
