Direction: Answer the following question. (Observe the use of correct grammar.

1. Reflect on the importance of law in democratic society. As a law-abiding citizen,


what can you do to uphold the rule of law? (min. of 1 paragraph)
The rule of law have huge importance in society.   It is a political ideal that we should all be
fighting for.  This law provide everyone with reliable guidance that is legally required, permitted and
prohibited.  If the laws are unclear, secret, constantly changing, or retroactive, or if officials and
judges do not comply with the law impartially without fear or favor, then it becomes impossible to act
within the law. Sticking to the rule of law will help to keep governmental and private power part of
the solution, rather than part of the problem.  It will also make society safer. 
Following the basic rules and law. Protesting against the disobedience of law and order. And also
we to spread the awareness to other people to maintain the law and order as part of our life.

2. What are the implications when the rule of law is eradicated? (min. of 1 paragraph)
By having a strong rule of law, the governments give business and society the stability of knowing
that all rights are respected and protected. To imagine a society where the rule of law is failing. 
Plainclothes police officers shoot dead a man they claim was acting suspiciously, but the routine
criminal investigation of the killing that would normally follow is obstructed by the police chief.  
Officials start to disobey court orders systematically.  Magistrates receive anonymous death-threats.
Independently-minded judges are lambasted by high-powered government officials.  Corporate
property developers circumvent regulations to protect precious environmental areas, without
consistent official response. Nameless officials knocking on doors at night and of people
disappearing. And many more thing that against the law. And that what society without the rule of
law.

3. Reflect on the Filipino concept of a hero. Now that the nature of the concept of “hero”
has been clarified as not to be a posthumous award, how can a student like you
become a bayani in your own way? (min. of 2 paragraphs)
Being hero is not just saving life of another but being yourself. Having confident with who
you are, while doing the things the frightens us the most. Having a strong body with strong
mind to over come my limits and dedication to achieve. Having nobles qualities is also heroic
such as fearless, deliberate, intelligent and truthful.
Being kind to others is kind of hero doing. Have a fighting spirit to overcome our fears of
one thing. Taking a full responsibility on what you what doing.
