Social media helps people to deliver information quickly.

I have noticed when the lockdown

was implemented because of the virus, people use social media to become updated, some
were using it as a past time because of boredom but mostly, people are using it for online
business to promote their products.There are an issue about online seller and that is about
some online seller was not posting the true information about their product. There is an ethics
in communication that is violated, which is the honesty and truthfulness of the information. It is
their responsibility to be honest regarding the sale items.
Spreading news about road accidents or gory post mortem photos are also in my
Newsfeed few weeks ago. It is good to become aware about the situation and it serve as a
reminder in safety, but some images that are posted in social media causes distress and disgust.
For the concern of others, some photos should not be posted in social media.They can inform
the public by giving information needed like illustrating what happened, the people involved
and causes of the accidents because that is the information people want to know.
All those issues can be resolved if we are responsible for where we get the information
and also what we post. We can also report the account of those who posted a lie statement in
public and photos that has a bad effects on others. Spreading of fake news should stop and use
social media with great responsibility.
