ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN CURRICULUM

Introduction:

In order to achieve the educational goals and objectives of Department of

Education, Division of Nueva Ecija, Sicsican Matanda Elementary School together with

competent teachers and supportive stakeholders have been committed itself to the

mission of equipping every learner with competencies and lifelong learning skills;

Making each one a model of virtues that each might live productively in a caring and

nurturing environment.

In connection with this, Sicsican Matanda Elementary school as a learning institution is

looking forward that the graduates of K-12 will be holistically developed Filipinos with

21st century skills. The curriculum will enable students to acquire knowledge, skills and

values that will prepare them for life-long learnings and give more opportunities in life.

Here are the different accomplishment in the school year 2018-2019:

 Implemented the Early Grades Literacy and Numeracy Program

 Conducted SLACs based on approved Regional and Division Action plan on K to

12 implementation

 Implemented the Mother-Tongue Curriculum


 Encouraged teachers to conduct Action Researches

 Held various INSETs in the school

 Giving opportunities to teachers to run and conduct SLAC

 Monitored teaching-learning activities of teachers and given technical assistance

on their weaknesses in terms of content and pedagogy

 Identified the Core Skills and the 21st Century Skills of Teachers

 Active participation in the school’s FB group in Mentoring and LIS Concerns

 Use of localized plans and original stories in Big Books and other IMs

 Preparation and development of IMS and their compilations

 Having scheduled observation and monitoring of classes

 Conducted Oral Reading Activities to evaluate Reading Level of Pupils

 Conduct full Remediation to non-readers and Enrichment to advanced pupils.

 Establishment of reading corner in every classroom

 Conduct School Science Fair to uplift the performance of the pupils in Science

 Collaboration of all Science teachers in preparation of power point IM’s and

video clips

 Updated lesson posted in bulletin board and different subject’s corner

 Downloaded different learning materials from LRMDS.


 Conducted different school activities per learning area.
