Winter Concert – Alternative Assignment

Please watch the entire YouTube recording of our concert. (The link will be
posted next to this assignment in Schoology). After watching the recording, I
would like you to write up a short paper that answers these two points:

1. Pick out some things in the performances of each piece that are done
really well, and some things that could be done better. (Think about
things like dynamics, tuning, professionalism, etc.) Please be specific!
Giving time stamps would be very helpful!
EXAMPLE: The trumpets could have been a bit softer at 12:53.

2. Tell me about your favorite type of music. Give me your favorite

album/song, artist. When do you listen to music? When working out
or doing homework? Just to relax? Tell me why this is your favorite
and talk about some of the unique characteristics about it. Give me
some links to your favorite songs!

Please answer these questions thoroughly. I would like one page (double-
spaced) of material by the end of the day on Tuesday, February 16th. Complete this
and you will still get the full 40 points for the concert!
