Possible Problems

1. Kyan Doesn't come to class

2. Alexandrea comes to class for the first time in 6 weeks
3. Kyan has an incredibly hard time telling the difference in some of the intervals still
4. Kyan forgets his instrument

Possible Solutions

1. I can spend the class period preparing something for him to work on at home over the
weekend so when I see him next time he's not as far behind
2. I have Alexandrea start from where she is most comfortable and have her work on
fundamentals with Mr. Szuba to regain her chops
a. She also has the option to just join in on Kyans lesson since its mostly aural
3. We scratch the post lunch lesson for this week and continue to focus on interval work
and maybe repeat a few lessons or come back to them on a new perspective
4. He can sing with a mask on (I and Mr. Szuba are vaccinated)

Assessment:

● The accuracy on his exams will provide information on where his abilities lay within the
first lesson
● Judging his ability to set up and play along with the track will be his formal assessment
for this point.
