serial number and manufacturing date are included in the main nameplate.
All nameplates are firmly fixed to cast iron parts (frame or auxiliary terminal box lid) by pins.

Surge arrestors
High voltage HGF terminal boxes can be fitted Typical capacitor to HGF motors
with 1 set of surge arrestors per phase. Those
equipments are manufactured according to
IEC60099-4 and are classified according to the Jacking Bolts
voltage class: 3 kV, 6 kV, 9 kV or 12 kV.
Field replacements may be challenge mainly
due to lack of interchangeability with old
machines. To ease this task, HGF motors may
be supplied with intermediate base or extended
feet, for a complete interchangeability solution.
