FEEDBACK
BACKGROUNF OF THE STUDY
A non-reciprocated love is the most terrible thing to get over because you have
absolutely no idea whether you should just leave it alone or try harder to make them like
you. In most cases, it will end up consuming one both mentally and emotionally
(jphilipsagholor, 2017). It’s liking the idea of someone. But real love is never one-sided.
Real love is reciprocated. It’s one person giving and the other one is taking. It’s a poetic
term for heartbreak and suffering. (Rania Naim, 2020)
According to Devisha Tayal, love is not supposed to be hard. It’s supposed to
flow. You have to be uplifted by it, not broken down. You have to let go of this to move
on to the path of discovering the beauty of love.
Real love is the only love you need to look for. A wise man once said, there is a
dark and bright side to everything, you just need to know where to look. According to
Amina Moustapha, 2018, there are things that we can get (gain) from unrequited love:
You learn what it means to love and become emotionally strong. Your
case teaches you to love unconditionally. That pain teaches you that when life is sweet
and bitter, you say thank you and grow. And that’s how you become emotionally strong.
It forces you to improve yourself. Without being aware, you constantly and tirelessly
seek to reach the best version of yourself. You learn to be more patient and learn
what really makes you happy. The only way to get over one sided love is to fight back
by doing things you love. You realize you’re happy on your own. you realize you
don’t really need anyone to make you happy, you will learn to value yourself more.
