I selected this topic because it is about the mother earth in urgent help, and I love this nature same

as my Mother.

Now, the Earth has something called the atmosphere around it. It looks that the ball shaped earth is
inside one big water bubble, we call this as ‘atmosphere’, and it is filled with natural air called
greenhouse gases that keeps the temperature of whole earth in balance. It also protects us from
cold empty space and hot sunrays which is harsh.

But in the last 150 years the gases released into the atmosphere has increased, because We, the
human beings are using Oils like petrol, natural gas, coal and burning plastics and forests. This is
heating the Earth and we are calling this as climate change.

Now what are the effects of climate change? Obviously it will mess up with the seasons, like
summer, winter and rainy. Sometimes it gets very hot and sometimes hot at the wrong time. My
grandparents say that they use to see long rainy seasons regularly, now its less and comes in a wrong
month, either early or late. It makes hard for the farmers to grow crops and animals to find food.
Flooding due to melting ice glaciers and strong storms adds up to the problem.

It is scary, but if we can work together there is a solution. In December every year, all country
leaders meet in Paris to discuss about this. We all have to use the petrol and diesel automobiles as
less as possible, use bicycles and electric vehicles. Plant many trees and build forests which will
absorb harmful carbon diaoxide gas. I pledge to take up such responsibilities, in and around the
