Subject: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE 2002-002 RE:

ORDINANCE OBSERVING EVERY SECOND WEEK OF DECEMBER AS
BOY/GIRL OFFICIALS’ WEEK IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAITUM
WEHEREIN YOUTH AGES 13-17 SHALL HOLD OFFICE AS BOY/GIRL
OFFICIALS AND SHALL PERFORM THE DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITIONS THEY HOLD.

Sir:

The aforementioned Ordinance referred to our office was readily reviewed upon receipt
thereof. We found no legal impediments as to the passage of this ordinance for the
reason that it is not violative of RA 10742 as mentioned in said Ordinance. Also, it
does not run contrary to any of the provisions of the Constitution.
