PROJECT TITLE

Project STEP (Seamless Technology in Educating Parents)

II. RATIONALE

With the extension of the Enhance Community Quarantine till May 15, we are left

with no choice but to continue adjusting during this trying times. The situation might fall

as a challenge for families with children especially in terms of how encouraging them to

engage on activities while staying at home.

Hence, the implementation of lockdown has brought unexpected changes in the usual

routine of our learners with special needs (LSEN) and this project deemed to respond

those challenges.

OBJECTIVES

Project STEP is focused on teaching parent’s behavior modification

techniques during home quarantine.

o Raise awareness on the behavior their child is dealing during this time;

o design a routine that will engage their children in this time of pandemic;

o address the emotional challenge the quarantine might brought their child

III. SCOPE

Project Seamless Technology in Educating Parents (STEP) is for parents of

our enrolled LSENs. Video lecture shall be used as variable.

IV. TIME FRAME

Project SPARDO will be implemented starting September 2020.

V. ACTIVITIES

a. Pre Implementation Phase

The school head met the coordinators of each subject, Grade Leaders as

well as the class advisers of Grades I to VI. The project materialized in

response to the implementation of lockdown.

The group analyzed and discussed ways on how to address the demand

for learning as the implementation of lockdown was announced. Feedbacks,

suggestions and solutions were noted.


b. Implementation Phase

The launching of this project is scheduled first week of September,

2020.

c. Post-Implementation Phase

In this phase video presentation and output shall be evaluated

through online. Intensified follow-up will be done to ensure the

success of this project.
