Intended use of this guide
This guide provides information about new software settings that require manual
configuration after a software upgrade for the following CARESCAPE Monitors:
● CARESCAPE Monitor B450
● CARESCAPE Monitor B650
● CARESCAPE Monitor B850
In this document software version 2.0.6 refers to software version 2 with host build
2.0.6.
In this document software version 2.0.7 refers to software version 2 with host build
2.0.7.
In this document software version 2.0.8 refers to software version 2 with host build
2.0.8.
In this document software version 2.3 refers to software version 2 with host build 2.3.
In this document software version 2.4 refers to software version 2 with host build 2.4.
The settings are divided in the tables as follows:
● Settings listed in Chapter “New settings in software version 2.4” are available in
the software version 2.4 only.
● Settings listed in Chapter "New settings in software version 2.3" are available in the
software versions 2.3 and 2.4.
● Settings listed in Chapter “New settings in software version 2.0.8” are available in
the software versions 2.0.8, 2.3, and 2.4.
● Settings listed in Chapter “New settings in software version 2.0.7” are available in
the software versions 2.0.7, 2.0.8, 2.3, and 2.4.
NOTE: If you upgrade software from version 1, refer to Software Setting Transfer
Instruction, 2062973-011 for CARESCAPE B850 and B650 Monitor for new software
settings that were introduced in version 2.
For more detailed information regarding all settings, refer to the supplemental
information manual.
Use this guide together with the monitor’s service manual. The service manual has
useful service information and important safety precautions.
