Brief Belzona Application Procedure for Tank Base Corrosion Protection

(Seala Tank)

1. Manually Clean the concrete surface of tank base from dust. oily or
chemical. Clean concreate surface with Dry air if Require for remove
fine particles.

2. Manual Clean the surface of steel tank Base bottom with angular
ring plate up to Approx.10 inch peripheral.

3. Marking the area of application on both the surface on tank &

Concreate Surface with Masking Tape.

4. Use backer rod & Fit bond tap for fill the gape between angular ring
plate & concreate Surface where gape is uneven.

5. Apply Belzona 3911(PSC Conditioner) on concreate Surface with

brush on peripheral area.

6. Apply Belzona 6111(Liquid Anode) on steel surface with brush on

peripheral area.

7. Give desire (as per PSS) time for curing the above Belzona solution,
ie Belzona 3911 & Belzona 6111.

8. Apply first coat of Belzona 3111 on both the concreate as well as

steel surface to wet the peripheral area.

9. Use the Belzona 9311 A reinforcement Tap cut with proper

dimension and arrange on wet surface of Steel & Concreate also use
Belzona 3111 to remove void as well proper surface finish.

10.After curing the First coat of Belzona 3111again apply Belzona 3111
with Brush application.
11.Finish the Application of sealatank with apply Last coat of Belzona
3111.
