PLAN : ACADEMIC AUDIT & ASSESSMENT REVIEW 2020 - 2021

1. The academic audit and assessment review of all departments of shall be

conducted by QEC in coming months. The purpose of academic audit is to assess
the quality of education, adherence of HEC / University policies and laid down
criteria’s, review of progress on previous audit observations and general teaching
environment at the Department. During the audit QEC team shall also evaluate the
available training aids, departmental labs, infrastructure facilities and space
management at the department. Additionally, on-going classes may also be visited
by the team.

2. The HOD/rep of HOD is requested to present his department covering

following aspects: -

(a) Mission Statement approved & program objectives.

(b) Program syllabus designed and approved by academic councils.
(c) HEC approved supervisors.
(d) List of permanent and visiting faculty members.
(e) Program degree titles.
(f) Launch of new programs and approval.
(g) Enrollment status, induction, dismissed and completed.
(h) Internships.
(j) Faculty training / development.
(k) Google classrooms for online classes.
(l) Any other relevant information.

3. The team shall also conduct ‘Assessment Review’ of the programs

conducted at the department. Assessment Review is part of yearly progress report
assessed by an external member and evaluated Departmental programs as per
HEC set criteria. The program managers will give detail presentations on Self-
Assessment Reports. During the brief, the coordinators of graduate & post graduate
program shall facilitate team and provide data related to the programs. The team will
also discuss programs, challenges, and future goals with Dean, HOD and faculty
members.

4. The academic audit and assessment review team constitutes of following

5. The plan of academic audit and assessment review for academic year
