Online Class Etiquette
Based on the Supplemental Student Handbook

• Be respectful. It is always nice to be respectful, but more so when

you don’t necessarily see your classmates and teacher in person.
• Be mindful of the use of language and punctuations. Do not use
unnecessary punctuation such as exclamation point, bold letters
which may convey a certain degree of feeling or frustration.
• Avoid funny and sarcastic comments. Being funny may not sit well
during online classes, so does being sarcastic.
• Do not plagiarize. Always cite your sources in every work you do.
• Do not post inappropriate materials – items not necessary in the
conduct of online classes.
• Be understanding. When you noticer errors, be understanding,
never judge and humiliate.
