Bunn High School | 2018 - present
Assistant Principal
Served as the 9th, 10th and 11th grade principal as well as the lead administrator for the Mathematics Department, Social Studies
Department and Exceptional Children’s Department. 2019 recipient of NC State University's US Department of Education grant titled,
“The Northeast Leadership Academy (NELA) 2.0: Developing and Sustaining Effective Leaders for High-Need Rural Districts” in the
amount of $6500 for Bunn High School. Presenter and guest panelist at NC State University’s 2019 NELA SUMMER
CONFERENCE: BUILDING TEACHER EFFICACY: THE KEY TO SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT. Additional responsibilities
include serving as a panelist on the Franklin County Schools’ Discipline Appeals Committee, serving as the lead coordinator for the
first and second annual BHS Curriculum Fair, School Improvement and Leadership Team member, facilitating professional learning
communities and aligning their protocols, practices and procedures to our Indistar Indicators, teacher coaching and evaluations, data
analysis for Math I, Math III and ACT performance, designing a multi-tiered remediation plan for struggling Math I students,
transportation coordinator, LEA for 9th, 10th and 11th grade IEP/504 meetings and other supervisory responsibilities. I am also a
member of the Franklin County Schools Remote Learning Team, Franklin County Schools Attendance and Engagement Taskforce,
Franklin County Schools Capital Outlet Team and Bunn High School's Remote Learning team.

Bunn High School | 2017 - 2018


Principal Resident/Assistant Principal - Full-time Administrative Internship
Served as the 9th and 10th grade principal as well as the lead administrator for the Mathematics and Social Studies Department.
Additional responsibilities included coaching Math I teachers and analyzing student data in preparation for the NC Math I End of
Course test, conducting formal observations, walk-thru evaluations, leading professional learning community meetings,
transportation, lunch detentions, fundraising, field trips and prom.

Boys and Girls Club of Franklin County | 2017


Community Internship with the Summer Brain Gain program
Worked to translate instructional material into easy-to-use resources for club facilitators who are not teachers
by trade. These materials were used to remediate youth from low-income families in content knowledge which
helped alleviate some of the summer learning loss typically experienced by students who are not otherwise
exposed to academic opportunities during the summer months.
