Post Description

Pay Scale Pay Level- Level-07

Age Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not Exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
 candidates, not exceeding 33 Years for Other Backward Classes candidates in respect of vacancy reserved for them.
Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt.
of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applications, please see relevant paras
of the instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection.

Essential Qualificaiton (s) A- EDUCATIONAL-

(i) Master’s Degree in Computer Applications/Information Technology/Computer Science of a recognized
University/Institute.
OR
(ii) B.E/B.Tech.in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology/Computer Science and
Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized University/Institute.
NOTE- The qualification are relaxable at discretion of Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well
qualified.

Desirable Qualificaiton (s)

Duty(ies) (i) Troubleshooting of all Hardware/Software.

(ii) Providing Level-1 Technical support to the Department Officers/Officials.
(iii) Liaising with NIC and other service providers in the department for internet/LAN/WAN/Application Development.
(iv) Liaising with AMC provider for the maintenance of Hardware/Software of the Department
(v) Installation and testing of standard software packages
(vi)Training users regarding technical aspects and use of Standard software packages.

Other Details General Central Services Group-“B” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.

Any Other Conditions Reservation under OBC category will be provided only to those candidates who produce OBC certificates issued by GNCT of
Delhi. Candidates who produce OBC certificate issued by other States/UTs will be considered as General/Unreserved
candidates against General/Unreserved vacancies.
