How to Ship Your Direct

Shipment Packages with


Kango Express
Direct Service Overview

 With our Direct Service, we can affordably ship your packages to over 200
countries using one of our partner courier companies.
 Depending on the service level you choose, packages ship within 24 hours of
payment and arrive in 3-6 days to your home/office.
 You can estimate the cost of shipping with the Direct Service by using our Cost
Calculator.
 We offer free resizing on all packages to reduce volume weight as much as
possible.
 We include $100 of free insurance.
 Packages can be held up to 30 days in our warehouse free of charge.
 Duties and Taxes are not included in the quoted rates.
 Once you receive notification from Kango that we have received your package,
log into your account and go to the Packages in Warehouse section.
 Click on the Direct Services Packages section to view all your packages in our
warehouse.
 Packages in the pink/red area require your attention. Normally this is because
we did not get a packing list with the package, and you must declare the fair
market value of your items.
 Packages may also be missing a delivery address if you have not yet set up a
Default Delivery address in your account preferences.
 Click on the Edit/Pencil next at the far right to add the missing information.
 Add the fair market value (or amount you paid) for the item in the unit cost
box. This value is used for reporting to Customs.
 This should be in $USD.
 Select the “Update” button at the bottom of the page.
 This same process would be followed to update the Delivery Address.
 Once you have successfully entered a value or updated the missing information,
your package will move to the yellow section which means it is Available to
Ship.
 When you are ready to ship your packages you will now select the check boxes
next to the packages you want to ship, and click on “Ship Selected”.
 You will now begin the Direct Service checkout process.
 Step 1 is to select the courier service you would like us to use for your package.
 Step 2 is to review your information and select your payment method.
1. You can click on “Details” to review your package information.
2. We automatically add insurance to your package (first $100 of coverage is free). You have the option to remove this
optional benefit if you choose to by selecting the “Remove” text.
3. Select how you will pay your charges. If you choose CC, you must have a verified credit card on file (which you will
select from the drop down). If not, you would need to add a credit card and complete the verification process (see
separate tutorial).
4. If you have a promo code (such as a first time customer promo), enter it here and the discount will be applied.
5. If you have an account credit balance, you can select here to apply it to the invoice to lower the charges.
 Step 3 is to once again review that all your information is correct (especially
your ship to address and phone number).
 Once you are ready, click on the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and
then select to “Confirm Order”.
 Upon confirming your shipment in the previous step, our warehouse is notified
that your packages are ready to ship.
 Your packages will now appear in the Sent Packages area of your account and
the status will appear as “Closed” until our staff has completed the shipment,
which usually occurs within 24 hours of payment (excluding weekends).
 You will be notified via email once your packages have been successfully
shipped and will receive a tracking number.
 At any time you can return to the Sent Packages section of your account and
click on the “Track” button to see a complete history of the transit of your
package.
