Standard Outdoor Jumpers
Hughes Outdoor Armoured Fibre Jumpers (ODFJ) are designed
for harsh environments. 150 N cable reten on, bend Insensi ve
protec on and an IP ra ng of IP67 makes Hughes ODFJ jumpers
the perfect product for Fibre To The Antenna (FTTA)
applica ons. Fibre tails are protected by stainless steel reflex
armouring for high flexibility.

Hughes ODFJ’s are available in Mul mode Om2, OM4, or

Singlemode, Simplex or Duplex.

Urgent and Bespoke ODFJ can be manufactured and delivered

on a same day basis to any London site or overnight to other UK
and European des na ons

ODC Jumpers
Hughes ODC TM and HDODC TM fibre jumpers incorporate
extremely durable termina ons suitable for the hazardous and
cellular environments. Terminated with 1 pair ODC or 2 pair
HDODC (High Density ODC) for applica ons where space is at a
premium, these jumpers are extremely durable and and easy to
install, providing virtually error free connec on every me.
Hughes ODC and HDODC connectors can be fabricated with LC
or any other fibre termina on to create fibre jumpers suitable
for a diverse range of manufacturers equipment.

FullAXS Jumpers
Hughes FullAXsTM Fibre jumpers combine Hughes DLC (Dual LC)
connectors with a FullAXs shroud design. Our FullAXs Jumpers are
constructed by overmoulding DLC connectors to provide strength,
protec on and weatherproofing and encasing the assembly in the
shroud for up to IP68 protec on. The weatherproof construc on is
widely used on Eriksson base sta on FTTA equipment to provide
superior IP protec on to DLC fibre interfaces.

Hybrid Jumpers
Hughes offer a number of variants of armoured Outdoor Fibre Hybrid Jumper cables with LC termina ons.
The termina ons are available from 1 Duplex up to 12 Duplex splits in OM2, OM3 or OM4. Each termina on is
armoured and comes fi ed within flexible conduit for protec on during installa on, a pull cord allows for easy
installa on.

Power is delivered by 2 core DC Blue and Grey Power cable available from 4mm2 to 10mm2 variants. Each core is
manufactured with a high density of copper strands making the conductor super flexible for ease of installa on where
ght turns and excess cables can be managed with ease.

BiDi SFP
Hughes Small Form Plug (SFP) Bi Direc onal (BiDi) single mode
transceiver for duplex op cal data communica ons such as 10GBASE-
LR/LW defined by IEEE 802.3ae. BiDi modules are supplied as a set
consis ng of a Transmit and a Receive module. The transmit module
has a TX 1270nm wavelength and RX 1330nm wavelength. The
Receive module has a TX 1330nm wavelength and RX 1270nm
wavelength.

Standard SFP+
Hughes offers a large range of SFP+ transceivers including our 10GSFP,
10Gb/s Enhanced Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP+). Hughes SFP+
transceivers are designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet links up to
10km over Single Mode fibre. Pre-Programed to work with most switch
manufacturers. They are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and IEEE
802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW, and 10G Fibre Channel.

QSFP+

Hughes Electronics has launched an advanced Fibre Op c and DC power
cabling concept for cellular networks.

Op Mod is the latest improvement in fibre cabling technology. Designed

specifically to handle the rigours of the cellular telephone industry,
Op Mod is a robust yet incredibly agile system of interconnec ng fibre and
DC power passive transmission media. Op Mod delivers high-performance
connec ons for hybrid, separate (DC and Fibre) or mixed cabling layout
requirements in the harshest environments that Cellular Telecoms has to
offer.

Secure connec ons in seconds

The key to Op Mod’s agility is a brand-new modular connector concept -
H-Mod. Like all other Op Mod system components, H-Mod is designed to
protect fragile glass fibre cores against the hardships of the cellular
industry, including handling and installa on by some less than delicate
installa on prac ces. H-Mod connec ons don't need tools, special skills or
equipment. A unique posi ve lock latching system enables error-free connec ons every me, simply connect, latch and go!

Install power and fibre in a snap

LC fibre and high-performance DC connec on modules combine in the same robust cast aluminium IP68 housing to form hybrid H-
Mod connectors - One connec on is all that’s needed to transmit DC power and fibre to radio equipment, saving hundreds of man-
hours in deployment.

Hughes hybrid cables are pressure-proof thanks to corrugated aluminium tubing and spiral steel armouring which provide absolute
fibre protec on against impact, bird, vermin and other hazards. Over sheathing with resilient HDPE provides superior UV and
corrosion resistance.

H-Mod can also house discrete fibre or DC connec on modules for use with separate power and fibre cables to support up to 8 RRUs
per power or fibre connec on.

Hughes Exterior Class fibre-only cable features high-grade low-smoke

compounds formulated for harsh environments and like it’s hybrid sister
cable, flexible steel armouring for crush and rodent resistance.

Hughes mul -core DC-only cable incorporates full braided shielding with
op onal func onal earth and is available from single to 10 pairs of
10mm2 cores.

can cause failure of components or failure of the whole system. Microscopic dust par cles par ally or
completely blocking signals generates strong back reflec ons, which cause instability in the laser system. Dust
