This template, modified in MS Word 2003, provides authors with most of the formatting
specifications needed for preparing electronic versions of their one page paper. The authors should
follow strictly these guidelines otherwise their paper will not be published in the conference
proceedings. This template aims to help in this matter. Margins, column widths, line spacing, and type
styles are built-in; examples of the type styles are provided throughout this document and are identified
in italic type, within parentheses, following the example. The paper must include the following
elements: introduction (short text to state the context and the objective), main results (with no more
than one figure), conclusion and Keywords (no more than 5).
First, confirm that you have the correct template for your paper size. This template has been tailored
for output on the A4 paper size. Margins should be: left, 2cm; right: 1.5cm; top: 2cm; bottom:
1.5cm.
The template is used to format your paper and style the text. All margins, column widths, line
spaces, and text fonts are prescribed; please do not alter them. This measurement and others are
deliberate, using specifications that anticipate your paper as one part of the entire proceedings, and not
as an independent document. Please do not revise any of the current designations.
Figure's caption (if any) should be below the figure. Use the abbreviation “Fig. 1”, even at the
beginning of a sentence, to refer to a figure. Use 8 point Times New Roman for Figure labels. Use
words rather than symbols or abbreviations when writing Figure axis labels to avoid confusing the
reader. Symbols and abbreviations have to be defined in the text. Avoid equations and symbols list.
Once you upload your WORD FILE abstract file to the conference online submission system, an ID
number will be assigned and the file will be renamed accordingly.
