4 Oct is a black date in Russian history. On this day in 1993, troops of President Yeltsin shot
the legally elected Parliament, marking the beginning of a liberal dictatorship, which lasted
in the country all of the 1990s years.

I can’t be impartial, as were the participants in these events – even ordinary, and ordinary.
October 4, 1993, I was body and soul on the side of the Parliment and have not changed my
position to the present time. Even when it became obvious that the leaders of the Parliment
were not up to the historical challenge and are largely responsible for the failure of popular
resistance to the liberal junta. That’s not it, it’s in the idea. On the side of Parliament then
was the truth and the light. On the side of Yeltsin and the surrounding liberals, oligarchs
and supporters of external control – lies and darkness. 4 October 1993 the evil in Russian
history triumphed over good. This is my Truth and my Directive. And none of 23 years
have passed since that sad bloody day, the day of the defeat of Russia, have ever convinced
me otherwise.
Now it is hardly necessary, however, to delve into those events. For a number of reasons.
First, Yeltsin, in spite of a complete victory, refrained from retaliation. Yeah, he
consolidated his power and, consequently, the power of the liberals and Westerners,
oligarchs and American agents. But today, the vast majority of this class Russophobic
vultures who mocked the country in the 1990s, are in opposition. They put out warm places
to the streets. Many left the country. Other – on suitcases. Yeltsin did not destroy the
defeated national forces. He struck us a severe blow. But don’t cut out all clean.Although
they could be. Novodvorskaya and other consistent liberals, Yavlinsky, Nemtsov, Gaidar,
urged him to this.

Secondly. Yeltsin soon began the First Chechen campaign, which overshadowed the disaster
of 4 October 1993. It was inept and failed war. But… But Yeltsin is still stopped – albeit
clumsy and inconsistent – a complete disintegration of Russia, which pushed its fifth
column, including the so-called Family. It was then that the most vehement Russophobes
and joined the opposition to Yeltsin. They wanted more – the collapse of Russia, here and
now. But Yeltsin has learned some lesson from 4 October. Not the one that benefited the
liberals, who celebrate their complete victory.

And third, in choosing a successor, Yeltsin made a gesture that made me – me personally, I
can’t speak for others – try to forget the horror of the bloody October 4, and the burning
skeleton of the White house. In fact, Yeltsin could destroy the country. If he had provided
events to unfold according to the logic that they developed in the 1990s in the absolute
power of the oligarchs and the foreign office, Russia today, October 4, 2016, would not be.
Appointing Putin, Yeltsin handed over power from the destroyers of the country its
Savior.You can be as critical of Putin, but the fact remains – the country is in a critical
moment when boomed the September terrorist attacks in 1999 – another bloody fall of
Russian history – saved. And the Second Chechen won. And gradually, little by little, Russia
has returned to the orbit of world history, this time as a sovereign entity and not as an
object external operation, in that it had almost turned those who shot people at the White
house on 4 October 1993 and who danced and lied on their bones, reminds the analyst.
If we add all this, it turns out that on 4 October 1993 we do not have to remember. Because
of evil triumphant – some unknown purely Russian way – sprouted good. From the
impenetrable darkness of the liberal 1990s through the dawn of the 2000s, the dawn in
boots. Dawn of Imperial revival. But still, impossible to forget, says Dugin. Neither a bullet

Eternal memory to them. And curse the murderers and weak-willed cowardly minions.

I’m sure all the good things that happened to Russia then, and the fact that we still have and
what we are fighting for their truth and their mission largely depended on the heroic
defenders of the White house. Rare Russian challenge authority, but it does mean that
longer cannot be tolerated. In spite of everything – I can’t forget. And don’t forget, Dugin
concludes.
