Sediment Formation Occurs

When reacting two solutions in a test tube, sometimes an insoluble,
solid, and separate compound is formed from the solution. The solid is
called sediment (precipitate).
4. Gas formation occurs
Simply put, in the chemical reaction the gas formed is shown by the
presence of bubbles in the solution being reacted. The presence of gas can
be known from its distinctive smell, such as foul-smelling sulfuric acid (H₂S)
and ammonia (NH₃).
Types of chemical reactions:
a. Fire.
Combustion is a reaction in which an element or compound combines
with oxygen to form compounds containing simple oxygen.
b. Merge (Synthetic)
A reaction in which a more complex substance is formed from two or
more simpler substances (both elements and compounds).
c. Decomposition
Is a reaction where a substance is broken down into simpler
substances.
d. Substitution (Transfer Date)
Is a reaction in which an element transfers another element in a
compound.
e.Metatesis (Transfer Double)
is a reaction where there is an exchange between two reactions.
The simplest way to provide a chemical reaction is to write a balanced
chemical equation which is a qualitative and quantitative statement about
the reactants involved. Each substance is represented by its molecular
formula. State the number of atoms of each type in a unit of that substance.
The molecular formula is a multiple of the integer formula of the substance
that states the minimum possible amount in the correct ratio of atoms of
each type. The three general classes of reactions that are widely
encountered in chemistry are direct combination reactions, simple turnover
reactions and double turnover reactions.
