Answer 1:: We completed the 3 weeks of the orientation programme at VJIM as a part of our
course. Personally I have learned many things and by following the suggestions of the
different speakers it is helping me now at this stage of learning. AS there were different
sessions daily for the 20 days such as Marketing,Finance,HR and many more.It has helped me
by knowing the basics of the PGDM and how your life will be changed after the next 2 years.
What skills you should have while you entering the Corporate sector after completing the
PGDM.So I it has helped me to get the confidence for achieving the success and I am now
enhancing the basic skills by these sessions.
I Inspired by session the session of Building a sustainable world by Mr.Prasant Lingam.I t was
about the problem solving.
I really inspired by the fact that he started from nothing and achieved a successful life. He
was the college dropout and was lacking in many skills but after the dedication he started a
business and business achieved the turnover of 1Cr in just 1-2 years,after he entered into
other business and went to debt but the skills he learnt and experience of the first business
helped him coming out from the debt.Now he is co founder of the Bamboo house and doing
well. He is also working in the issue of plastics waste management and trying to recycling the
plastic for a better use. This shows that how a problem should be should we should never
give up and keep try and try.

Answer 2::In the Foundation course there are 3 courses which have been stated from the 31 st
August. I have learned and studied about the basics of the Accounting , Statistics and Basis of
of the Communication I have learned about the time management because we getting only
15 minutes break in each session. It is helping me by knowing the basics of everything for
the curriculum of the next semester or year and how the foundation course is very important
to learn in the PGDM.There is also a session of the News Article Analysis session which helpes
in get in update the national and international news which is very essential for a Managemt
student.
My experience at the 3 sessions are following:
Basics of Accounting: In this session I have rescanned the basics of Accounting because I am a
commerce student .My experience about this session is very good .Ma'am alsl gives the home
work to do so that we can remain touch with the concept which was studied in the class.
Basics Of Communication :In this session I have learned a lot and also got benefitted .In this
session I got to know about the how effective communication should be there for a
Managemt student. Especially this session is helping me coming out of my shell and comfort
zone and gaining the confidence. We had 2 Jams session also which were very usefull.
Basics Of Statistics: My experience about this session is also great because in this session I
learned about the basics of statistics and how it is important in the every sector and field.The
Ma'am is also good and supportive.
