The conventions there are formatted to show beautiful and nice tourist destination of the

Philippines and usually the color blue sky is always appeared in the picture and it use as a code
where usually color blue tells about peace and harmony it is like telling the audience that
Philippines is a beautiful and relaxing place. If I am going to make a postcard I will use the
postcard convention where there is a picture shown with a bold and readable letters. Because if
you’re going to add photo in a postcard especially for places it better to add photo it can make
the audience to be more interested about the specific place. It contributes to media and
information literacy in the way that technical and symbolic codes has differ meaning base on
how it being presented every code represents or means something so as a media and information
literate individual we should know how to understand it and translate the codes into information.
Based from what I have learned from the lesson it is important to follow the code and convention
of any form of media so it’s easy to identify and it is important to know the meaning of every
codes because codes sometimes has a deep meaning rather than its literal interpretation.
