If I were given the chance to create a postcard for a place or organization, I will

use some picture as symbolic code that will concretely show the culture of
Filipinos and the symbolic code that I’ll put are either the beautiful sights of our
country or the Philippines’ flag. I’ll put the sophisticated graphics of our country as
technical codes. Through that codes I can convey the important and good
information about the country, so that, the people around the world will be
informed how amazing our country is. It contributes to media and information
literacy in the way that technical and symbolic codes has differ meaning base on
how it being presented every code represents or means something so as a media
and information literate individual we should know how to understand it and
translate the codes into information.
Based from what I have learned from the lesson it is important to follow the code
and convention of any form of media so it’s easy to identify and it is important to
know the meaning of every codes because codes sometimes has a deep meaning
rather than its literal interpretation. I hope to learned more about this lesson.
