Self-Introduction:
My name is Muhammad Nafay Malik. I am basically from Soon Valley Tehsil Nowshera district
Khushab. We are six members in my family including me. My father name is Nazir Ahmed. I did
my FSC from Punjab group of colleges Nowshera campus (Soon Valley) located in soon valley.
And right know I am doing BS computer science from CUST (Capital University of Science and
Technology).am also in sports like cricket and volley ball etc. If I talk about my future goals,

developers. If I get stuck in some point then I hope that I will find some solution and my dream is

Mission: STRIVE is dedicated to working on neurological disorders for improving the quality
of life of the persons with disabilities (PWDS) and facilitate them through research, treatment
and rehabilitation.
Objectives:
Promoting Cell therapy and gene therapy in the country as both the therapies have great
PWDs

Background:
Strive is a not-for-profit and a civil society organization that works for the People with
Disabilities (PWDs). It aims to improving the quality of life of the PWDs. Its program
awareness about many seemingly incurable diseases such as Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA),
Muscular Dystrophy (MD), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral
Palsy (CP), Stroke, Parkinson Disease, Alzheimer's and other neurological disorders. The
STRIVE Trust has been helping the disabled persons through the provisions of awareness,
physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation since 2010. It has been serving the most deserving

and needy Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through its dedicated facility known as Ibn-e-Sina
Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center (IPRC), established in 2010 and currently located at E
– 11/2 Markaz, Islamabad. The physiotherapy and rehabilitation services offered to the suffering
disables are free of cost for deserving and needy PWDs, and they are provided at the doorstep in
cases of acute disabilities. The services are provided mostly to the people in severe pain, and
especially to those who cannot afford to pay for their treatment and rehabilitation. A nominal fee
is charged to the disabled who can afford to pay. The IPRC under the aegis of STRIVE Trust has
been serving PWDs mainly from Islamabad and the surrounding areas, but its doors remain open
to every disable from any part of Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK)
on first-come- first-serve basis. Owing to the dearth of financial resources, IPRC has been

to the host community and organization. Volunteering has the ability to improve the quality of
life and health including longevity of those who donate their time and research has found that
older adults will benefit the most from volunteering. Physical and mental ailments plaguing
older adults can be healed through the simple act of helping others; however, one must be
performing the good deed from a selfless nature. There are barriers that can prevent older adults
from participating in volunteer work, such as socio- economic status, opinions held by others,
and even current health issues. However, these barriers can be overcome so that if one would
