them to make Rage rolls at -2 difficulty.

Flea
Background Cost: 5
Flea is the undisputed master of hit and run tac-
tics. Some more honor bound tribes consider her tactics
as less than honorable, but she has interestingly enough
attracted a diverse following, as both Red Talons and
Glass Walkers find her tactics perfectly acceptable. She is
also, unsurprisingly, quite popular with the Bone Gnaw-
ers due to her association with rats and stray animals.
Individual Traits: Children of Flea subtract 1

Ban: Garou who follow flea may not disturb her
animal children, so they may not scratch fleabites nor
may they use any kind of wash or medications to remove
flea infestations from their fur.

Rhino
Background Cost: 5
A great spirit of the savanna, Rhino is a power-
ful, though thoughtful and humble totem. When roused
to violence, however, he strikes decisively, seeking to end
any confrontation quickly. He has wide respect among
all the tribes that know of him, particularly packs operat-

Fog
Background Cost: 5
A Totem of deep mysticism favored especially by
the Silent Striders and Uktena, fog grants knowledge and
subtleness to his packs. His children have a reputation
for jealously guarding secrets that they have acquired.
Individual Traits: Fog’s children reduce the dif-
ficulties or Enigma and Occult rolls by 1, and gain a
point of Wisdom.
Pack Traits: His packs may make use of an extra
die of Subterfuge and Stealth, and gain access to the Gift
Curse of Aeolus.
Ban: Such are his children’s dedication to keep-
ing secrets that any Garou dedicated to Fog must spend a
point of Willpower to reveal a secret to anyone outside of
their pack.
Totems of Cunning
The Apocalypse looms, and many packs look for
any edge against the Wyrm. Some seek the patronage of
less traditional Totems of Cunning, much to the chagrin
of more hidebound Elders.

Butterfly
Background Cost: 5
Butterfly is a cunning manipulator. As a juvenile
caterpillar, he attracts colony insects like ants to protect
him with his secretions. Once he pupates into an adult,
he flies off, leaving behind the victims of his cleaver
machinations without a second thought. Shadow Lords
and some Glass Walkers especially find this appealing,
especially when they can turn potential enemies against
each other.
Individual Traits: Children of Butterfly gain a
dot of Manipulation, but gain one less point of tempo-
rary Glory when it is awarded.
Pack Traits: Butterfly’s packs gain access to two
dots of Subterfuge, which is doubled when impersonat-
ing another, as well as a dot in Athletics.
Ban: Packs who follow butterfly must demand a
price for giving aid.

Goat
Background Cost: 5
Goat is a suborn survivor, first and foremost, and
will go to any lengths to win, a trait admired by many
Garou as the Wyrm rises and the Apocalypse looms. For
those packs who find that the ends justify the means, he
is a very appealing totem.
Individual Traits: Such is the stubbornness of
Goat that his children make Willpower rolls at -1 difficul-
ty. Metis with the Horns deformity may make an attack
with their horns causing Strength +1 Lethal damage.
Pack Traits: Packs dedicated to Goat have access
to two dots of Subterfuge as well as Survival.
Ban: Goat’s children are expected to eat what’s
available, regardless of personal tastes.
Honor Your Totem
A Garou pack is not truly a pack without a totem. It brings them together as a single
entity, granting them great power, and the means to battle their ancient foe, the Wyrm.
Across the World of Darkness, Garou pledge themselves to powerful totem spirits of
Respect, War, Wisdom, and Cunning.

Book of Totems; Patron Spirits includes:
