As of August 31st, 10 beneficiaries and their families associated with one Child Development Center had been affected by the flooding.     Update #1: August 31, 2020
    To date, the Child Development Center (CDC) in the impacted area reported 10
    bene ciaries and their families have been affected by the ooding. The CDC staff are
    utilizing disaster relief funds to support the affected families with food, beds,
    mattresses, and other livelihood items.

    Please pray for the provision and peace of the affected bene ciaries, families and
    church partners.

    Severe ooding occurred in the town of Bahir-Dar in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia.
    It caused damage to homes and household items, as well as loss of livelihood. So far,
    speci c bene ciary impact details are not available yet. We do know that one Child
    Development Center has been impacted. Their building was ooded, which caused
    damage to furniture, computers and cameras.

    Please pray for the safety and provision for the bene ciaries, families and the church
    partner.
