Chapter I
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction

Include an overview, problem statement, importance of the

conducting the study, a short presentation of literature review, and the

research gap.

Objectives of the Study

Present first the main goal of the study followed by the specific

objectives. Use the declarative form in presenting the objectives of the

study.

Significance of the Study

Present the over all importance of the study. Identify specific

person(s) including department or agencies benefiting the current study,

i.e. Academic Planners, Human resource, etc.

Theoretical Framework of the Study

Present a schematic diagram of the underpinning theory of the

study.

Definition of Terms

Define at least 10 most important terms in the study. This will help

the readers understand the whole text.


Chapter II

LITERATURE REVIEW

At least 30 references shall be presented in a systematic review.

Thematic presentation of the literature is required.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY (for Educational Research)

MATERIALS AND METHODS (for Wet Research)

Method (for Educational Research)

Design (for wet research)

Locale of the Study

Respondents of the Study (for Quantitative Educational Research)

Informants of the Study (for Qualitative Educational/Social Research)

Test Species (for wet research)

Describe the profile of the respondents of the study in a table.

Categorically present the qualifications of the informants of the

study.

Present the procedure in selecting the test species including the

Research Instrument (describe the instrument as to validity and

reliability)

Test Specification

Data Treatment Plan
