Please note that in this example the position Nurse 8 should be added shifts either in this ward or partially affected in a different ward. If possible, this position should be filled by a daily worker.
It is also VERY important to rotate the roster so Nurse Hussain for an example isn´t always Nurse #1 because the hrs and shift vary.He should be NURSE 1 in March, NURSE 2 in April, NURSE 3 in May, etc...When doing that, make sure that the person
IMPORTANT working Night shift on the last day of the month doesn`t end-up having to work Day shift the first day of the following month. Finally, the bottom 3 rows in this example are built on a 2/day and 2/night staffing need. It would have to be changed if your need
is different. (ie 3/day and 3/night). Your Log Manager would be happy to show you how if needed.

Please refrain yourself from going over 208hrs of TOTAL HOURS (Bold column). If a number is in red in the overtime column, either A: a worker has too many hours, in which case you can redistribute the workload, or B: the worker doesn't have
SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS enough hours and should be added more OR used in an other location or ward to complete the hours closer to 208 hrs. Equally important, the numbers on the bottom 3 lines will turn to RED if you are understaffed (or overstaffed) to avoid mistakes and
