Participation Guidelines and Assessment

For the most part, Mondays will be a lecture that gives the technical content. You can prepare
for this by reading the associated chapters in advance. Wednesdays will be an industry guest
lecturer who demonstrates applications of the content. This will give you an opportunity to ask
questions, engage, and differentiate yourself with industry leaders. Fridays will be students'
case study analysis and presentations, for which you will be participating in learning activities
that are being facilitated by your peers.

You are expected to participate wholeheartedly in these activities during class or afterwards in
the discussion forum.

Your participation will account for 15% of your final grade in the course, depending upon your
preparation, frequency, depth and quality, and listening.
