BEFORE YOU START

Its very important that before you start this process that your device needs to have the Latest OS Updates applied.

You should have received your username and password in a separate email, and the password will need to be reset.
In the address bar of a web browser, go to https://mail.ventrica.co.uk/owa
Enter your username in the format Ventrica\username(rather than username@ventrica.co.uk) and the password as
it was sent to you, and you will be prompted to change it.

You will need to download and install the Remote Desktop Client and Duo Security software:

Windows Users:
Remote Desktop Client: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/connect-windows-7-and-10
Duo: https://dl.duosecurity.com/DuoDeviceHealth-latest.msi

Mac Users:
Remote Desktop Client: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/connect-macos
Duo: https://dl.duosecurity.com/DuoDeviceHealth-latest.dmg

FOR WINDOWS USERS:


Run the Remote Desktop app that you installed and you will see this screen, where you will need to click ‘Subscribe’
FOR MAC USERS:
Run the Remote Desktop app that you installed and you will need to select the + Icon highlighted below and select
add workspace

You will then be prompted to enter a workspace URL address, enter the following.:
https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/api/arm/feeddiscovery

FOR BOTH WINDOWS AND MAC USERS:

You will then be prompted to sign in:

Enter the username as it was sent to you(usually FirstnameLastname@ventrica.co.uk), click next and then the
password you changed previously.
Once Signed in, you will next be presented with the Duo software you installed, asking for authentication:

Select ‘Enter a Passcode’ and a blue bar will appear. Click ‘Text me new codes’.
Clicking on this will send the passcode to your mobile phone.
Enter the code from the text message you receive and then click Log in.

Once authenticated through Duo, you will see a similar box as below, showing an icon of the remote computer pool
you will be connecting to. (MAC Users will show this as a workspace)
Clicking on this Icon, you will then get a further box asking you login. Once again, enter just your Ventrica username
followed by your new password.

After that you should see a normal Windows desktop with everything you need to get going.
