Review Essay #1 (Worth 10 marks): Write a review essay on the linear

model of the communication process (Textbook: Chapter 1 p. 10-21) using the review essay
format. Write only 550 words) More than 560 words will be marked negatively. You must
make the word count correctly and mention at the bottom of the page.

If you claim that listening is not simply hearing, that listening requires planning, and listening
is not a matter of intelligence, prove your claim by using relevant support and explain how a
good listener one can be. Write only 550 words) More than 560 words will be marked
