Brief Project

The living room can be called the most "popular" room in the house
In this project we have been given a house on the beach site. In which a couple lives. We
have to interior the living room of their house. That too according to their choice. Wife
likes elegance and sophistication style and husband wants cozy and comfy room.
Considering the choice of both of them, we have to design a living room in which both of
them can easily relax in a weak day.
That is why we have used Gender Neutral color scheme for this living room. In this we
use Brown Grey and Black color for elegance and sophistication style and White and Blue
color is used for cozy and comfy. Fireplace is used for the elegant style. We have used
fireplace in this room due to its beach site location. We have Tv for entertainment. We
have used the furniture that is not easily stainable and also easily cleanable. It is also cozy
and comfortable for the sitting area. To create the cinematic scene, we have used shaded
window.

What and Why Material Used

About Living Room:

 You spend a lot of time in your living room, so it not only needs to look great,
but it also needs to be functional and comfortable.
 The living room has long been one of the most important spaces in your house
for relaxing, entertaining—and well, living—with family and friends. Most
cases, its style sets the tone of the rest of the home through furniture choices,
personal collections, and accessories. But one of the easiest and most common
ways to define the living room environment is the paint color that's on the walls.

Gender Neutral Color:

 Men tend to like bold colors while women tend to prefer shades and tones. Interior
designers have long used analogous colors to create a cozy, harmonious and visually
pleasing effect in any room. The good this is that you can choose `any combination
of similar color tones to achieve a unique interior that’s inviting and elegant.
Create a Feeling of Relaxed:
 A fireplace is the perfect starting point for a comfortable, traditionally decorated
living room. Since traditional rooms rely on balance and symmetry, having such
a distinct focal point to arrange furniture around is ideal. Designer Kim
Ragas used muted neutrals, soft textiles, and inviting furniture to create a feeling
of relaxed elegance.
 A look of deep cozy comfort is evoked by a cushion back sofa in the lounge.

Elegance and Sophistication:

 They are infused with chic elegance and sophistication but each have their own
contemporary twist. Home design number one takes us on a journey of
sumptuous texture, curves and carefully placed color tones. Interior number two
is a much brighter affair, with high contrast hues, chunky gold accent pieces,
decadent lighting and eye-catching art. Our final visit is to a calm and
coordinated dwelling where we meet quirky details and unusual paint
techniques.
 The marble fireplace has a classic elegance and a modern profile.
 Luxurious drapes hang heavily at tall windows.
Entertainment Space:
 Since people have had to adjust to what outside entertainment looks like, I think
you're going to see more attention paid to what that looks like inside the home.
Bigger TV’s, better sound systems, and more comfortable and considered lounge
seating will become a priority in order to enjoy new blockbuster movies or
headlining concerts.

Fireplace:
 Electric fireplaces are quickly replacing classic wood-burning fireplaces,
especially when it comes to modern and contemporary home decor. According
to Electric Flames, a top provider of contemporary electric fireplaces, modern
fireplaces can easily adapt to every home decor style and have the ability to
make their surroundings more inviting, charming and cozier.
 Featuring different decorative elements like wood, stone, plastic, ceramics, metal
or marble, modern electric fireplaces are versatile and can be used as an interior
decorative element in any room. An electric fireplace can be the focal point in a
living room, dining room or bedroom. It adds to the ambiance of any room even
in a minimalistic, modern or traditional design style.

Accent Wall:
 An accent wall can be used as a perfect background for highlighting the key
design or decor elements of your home. Interior designers agree that an accent
wall is a great way to add dynamics to interior spaces and break the
monotonous, flat appearance. Creating an accent wall helps focus attention on
extraordinary elements of your interior space, according to a digital magazine
guide on modern interior design trends.

Floor:
 Wood Floor are the best flooring choices for the living room. They offer comfort
and style without compromising durability.
 Wood floors are easier to clean and less likely to be damaged. This will reduce
your cleaning or repair costs over the years. Additionally, because they are so
durable, hardwood floors can last for generations. This long-lasting quality
makes them a cost-effective flooring option.

Wooden Furniture:
 Wooden furniture is no doubt one of the most versatile of furnishings and is a core
element of transforming any interior space. Wood can fit in any type of interior
decor since it comes in many styles. With its natural and beautiful look, as well as
different lines and patterns, wood is the perfect choice when you want to achieve an
authentic and antique look in your room.
 Dark wood furniture goes well with traditional style decor while pale wood like pine
or cedar fits well in lighter and cleaner modern decor styles.

Curtain:
 Wave curtain with shades used in this living room. Shapes used because when they
watch a movie, they want complete darkness in the living room. A blind or shade,
because curtains are made of lightweight, sometimes sheer fabrics that unlined. This
means that while curtains do filter out some light, they won’t filter out all of it—
thus, they won’t keep your living room dark when you want to watch TV.
