How to Display an ALV Table as Crystal Reports

Goal
This document shall provide a step-by-step description for configuring your demo system so that ALV
tables can be displayed as Crystal Reports

Target Group
EWM pre-sales colleagues or EWM consultants

Prerequisite
NW 7.02 & i.e. EhP1 for EWM 7.0

Step-by-Step Description
Step 1: Download and install Crystal Reports Adapter
See SAP note 1353044. Download path for SAP internal employees (see here).
Step 1.1: Download and install Crystal Reports Designer (optionally)
This step is only needed if you want to design own Crystal Reports. Crystal Reports is available on
the software download center of the SAP service marketplace (https://service.sap.com/swdc).
Download path for SAP internal employees (see here).
Step 2: System Settings – Enable Crystal Reports
Navigate in your EhP1 for EWM 7.0 demo system to
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide-> SAP NetWeaver-> Application Server-> SAP List Viewer
(ALV)-> Maintain SAP GUI-Specific Settings

Note: Crystal Reports Functionality in ALV is only available since NW 7.02 i.e. EhP1 for EWM 7.0.
And flag setting “Allow Crystal Reports”

Now you system is ready to display ALV tables as Crystal Reports

Step 3: Display ALV table as Crystal Report
Enter transaction /n/SCWM/MON (Warehouse Monitor)
Select a Monitor node e.g. for displaying all open and confirmed Warehouse Tasks are shown in ALV
table

In order to switch to Crystal Report select in drop-down list of Views button Crystal Reports

Note: If Crystal Reports option is missing in the dropdown list you either didn’t install the Crystal
Reports Adapter (Step 1) or you didn’t do the system settings (Step 2)
Now the ALV table gets displayed as Crystal Report
Note: Without having designed an own Crystal Report in the Crystal Report Designer the ALV table
will be displayed as a Crystal reports Table. The Crystal Report displayed on the screenshot has been
enhanced in the Crystal Reports Designer e.g. by adding charts.
