Guide Questions
○ What is pharmaceutical care?
■ For me, pharmaceutical care is the act of making sure that the patient fully
understands the instruction or proper way of taking the drugs. As a pharmacist, it is
our sole duty to make sure that we are able to connect with our patient in the best
and comfortable way possible.

GUIDE QUESTIONS:
1. Do the pharmacists you interviewed know what pharmaceutical care is?
Based on the accumulated information from the interviewees, it is apparent that they are
aware as to what pharmaceutical care is and what it entails.
2. What do you think is the impact of their answers to the practice of pharmacy?
Pharmacists are responsible to provide drug therapy given that the overall purpose of
pharmaceutical care is to improve the patients’ quality of life. Understanding and perspectives of
each practitioner majorly affects their adaptation on the practice, which can be the basis for the
services they can render to patients.
3. How do you think pharmacy practice is to be enhanced based on the data you gathered?
Based on the gathered information, the pharmacists are well-informed of their duty and are
passionate about fulfilling their responsibilities. All in all, the pharmacists of today garnered
positive views and feedback on us, the future pharmacists. With that, we can further enhance
the pharmacy practice by following the lead of today's pharmacist along with the help of modern
technologies. But, pharmacists do not fully shoulder the responsibility. We think that inorder to
enhance the pharmacy practice, there should be a full cooperation between the pharmacy, its
pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team. Each pharmacy should have uniform
services that caters to the needs of the Filipino patient so that we can live up to our goal which is
to deliver better quality of life.
