Cross border mergers affect the structure of the company. This can bring change
in the internal as well as external policies of the company. Merging with foreign
companies makes an interference the national economy of the country and
hence is researchable.
Object
To analyze the effect of cross border merger of Indian Companies, after
2013 Act.
To analyze the study of cross border merger of Indian Companies and the
change in position of the structure of the companies.
Hypothesis
The cross-border mergers & amalgamation inculminate great probabilities for
profits. India is one of those countries which are giving a chance to this concept.
The domestic firms are forming associations with the foreign MNCs. Whereas a
great risk follows while taking a step towards the cross-border amalgamation
and merger regarding the ownership rights and political support. Considering
the risk factors following the Cross-border M&A, it is hard to get lead sooner in
such trade or business which makes it less approachable.
Research questions
To examine the impact of cross border mergers.
To examine cross border mergers on profitability positions of companies
in India.
Analysis of inbound merger in 2013 and outbound merger of 2018.
Methodology
This project is based on descriptive and analytical method.
