MOBILE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT OVERVIEW

WHAT
SPG Mobile Check-In & Check-Out allows SPG members to check-in to their room, receive a notification when
their room is ready, get their room faster, and check-out all through their mobile devices using the SPG app.

HOW
Mobile Check-In/Check-Out is supported by a cloud-based system called the Control Panel. To access the Control
Panel, simply type the URL in your browser https://mpg-sw.marriott.com/login and enter your EID credentials to
login. The Control Panel is not currently integrated with your PMS system, so the Front Desk will need to
manually transfer relevant stay information received in the Control Panel to the PMS system, to flawlessly
execute the guest’s stay.
WHO & WHEN
Mobile Check-In/Check-Out is already live 4,500 Marriott hotels around the world using the Marriott Mobile
App. SPG Mobile Check-In/Check-Out will be deployed in the US in July and outside of the US in November 2017
to all Starwood hotels, excluding Design hotels and hotels with SPG Keyless.

BENEFITS
Deploying Mobile Check-In/Check-Out enables a consistent guest experience across all brands and provides a
streamlined, personalized arrival experience, as associates process transactional details prior to guests’ arrival.
At Marriott properties, we continue to see a 2.1pt increase in guest satisfaction scores for mobile check-in
compared to non-mobile arrivals.
