Engine News SEBD9688, 10 January 2011, "A New Aftercooler Is Used on Certain C9 Marine
Engines ". Disregard this article. Refer to the article that follows.

Description of Change: The new aftercooler design improves reliability and durability though use of
the proven shell and tube technology. This design offers a more compact package without affecting
engine performance while improving the serviceability of the aftercooler core and the crankcase
breather. In addition, the new aftercooler is approximately 80 lbs lighter than the previous design.

engines.
