The leg is made up of several bones.

The femur is the longest and joins the tibia and fibula
through the knee joint. The pelvis connects the leg to the trunk. Another joint that we find in
the leg and that joins the leg with the foot is the ankle. The feet are divided into three
sections: the forefoot contains the five toes (phalanges) and the five longer bones
(metatarsals); the midfoot is a pyramid-like collection of bones that form the arches of the feet
and the hindfoot forms the heel and ankle.

In the arm we also have three joints. The shoulder that connects the arm to the trunk of the
body through the shoulder blade and clavicle. The humerus joins the ulna and the radius
through the elbow. The wrist is the joint that joins the arm with the hand. The bones of the
hand provide support and flexibility to the soft tissues. They can be divided
into three categories: carpal bones, metacarpals and phalanges.
