COVID-19 Co-op Wage Subsidy


Employers of any size operating in Newfoundland and Labrador will qualify for wage subsidy funding
to hire a Co-op Student from the College of the North Atlantic. This is short term funding available for
the Summer and Fall semesters on a first come first serve basis.

· 75% student wage funding up to $8000


· Applications available at www.cna.nl.ca/coop

You may also qualify for one of the federal government’s Student Work Integrated Learning programs.

· Open to Canadian employers hiring Canadian students for a work-integrated learning


placement including co-op, work exposure, work placement and internship
· Up to 50% wage funding ($5000) or 70% ($7000) for students in an under-representative group
· Funding and applications provided by approved Employer Delivery Partners including the
