Methodology

The researchers come up with the steps to be approved by the barangay

officials with their proposed project. The first thing that the researchers did
in their first week is that they think of an idea on how they are going to
present their project proposal. The researchers also planned on how will
they going to make their project to be successful. And in the second week,
the researchers decided to present their output to the barangay officers
through passing a letter proposal and to see if their proposed project was
approved. In their third week, their proposed project was now approved by
the barangay officials and the researchers continued with their plan. And as
of the fourth week, the researchers were able to achieve their plan, fifty-
fifty. Their proposed project went truly well but somehow unsuccessful,
because segregation takes time. If only people know how to segregate,
then it would be much easier.

Project Needs

Project hours cannot be estimated because segregation is a long process,

it mostly takes to like 9-10 hours. We didn’t spend much on the equipment,
the only equipment we used is the gloves and mask and it cost for like ₱30.
For the supplies, we used garbage bin or disposable bags for segregation.
Hours needed to complete this project are like 12 hours because that
includes the collecting of thrash from them, but for segregating, it will take
for 9-10 hours. We need more segregation bins and disposable bag for
segregating. So far, those are the only equipment and supplies that we
needed. The barangay officials and member are the ones who assist us but
the garbage collector is what we thanked most because they’re the ones
who segregates thrash, and collects thrash from people.
Timetable
The problem of waste segregation isn’t that easy to be estimated, therefore
it will be depending to the people on to when will that common conflict to be
ended, but regarding to the structure made, the estimated time might be a
two – four weeks. Since the project talks about segregation, then the
researchers might find it really hard because they will rely to the people,
and see if whether their proposal might be successful or not.
