City of Loveland Parks and Recreation Opens Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap Seller Registration

Community members invited to clean out their garages for the Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap in
downtown Loveland
LOVELAND, Colo. – April 15, 2020 – The City of Loveland Parks and Recreation department has
opened registration for community members interested in selling their summer outdoor gear at
the Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap occurring 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 30 in downtown Loveland.

The swap is an affordable opportunity for community members to clean out their garages and
make extra money on one easy, hassle free day. Individuals must register to rent a vending
space using their household ID number. Vending spaces cost $25 to $80. Commercial vending
spaces can be purchased for $100 and include promotion in Facebook marketing. The Outdoor
Gear and Bike Swap is a direct to buyer swap. Sellers will stay onsite to sell their own
equipment and should consider pricing all items before the event begins.

“The Outdoor Gear and Bike Swap is a wonderful opportunity to clean out your garage or attic
from the gear you no longer use, gear your kids have outgrown or gear you’ve been wanting to
upgrade,” said Elizabeth Kayl, director of City of Loveland Parks and Recreation. “We’re excited
to offer an opportunity for the community to sell their outdoor equipment, whether they have
a bike that’s no longer in use, a tent that their family has outgrown or a collection of backpacks
that they keep forgetting to sell.”

This event is a partnership between the City of Loveland Parks and Recreation department and
the Loveland Downtown District. More information about registering to sell at the Outdoor
Gear and Bike Swap and a registration form can be found at bit.ly/OutdoorSwap.
