Supply and demand (Oferta y demanda)

Supply and demand are two important concepts in economy.

Demand: it refers to the desire, ability, and disposition of consumers to buy any product.

Supply: it is related to the ability and disposition of producers to offer products for sale.

So people should take into account to determine the demand the next points.

First: tastes or preferences

Second: numbers of consumers

Third: income

Fourth: consumer expectation

Fifth: price of related goods.

i am goint to explain two, number first taste o preferences: is it refers to a consumers may
demand for an item one year and ignore it the next.

And the point third is income: when this rises, the quantity demanded will rise too. When
this fall, the demand of that product will fall too.

Other point that i want to talk is about benchmarking:

Benchmarking is the systematic process for evaluating the companies that are recognized as
best- in – class.

In addition benchmarking has important objectives like: to define where and what
improvements are requested, to investigate how other organizations reach their high
performance levels and finally to use this information to improve the measurement of the
results.

Afterwards is the process that cosist of 4 points: Planning - analysis - integration and action.

In conclusion benchmarking need to take into account the next aspects: product - price - sales
system - payment systems - advertising- promotion- location - organization and planimetry.
