    Tip: Change Your Controls (PC Steam version)


    You can't change your controls in-game, but there is a way to adjust your controls outside of the game.
    Steam's default keyboard controls are very hard to use IMO, so if you're using the keyboard I'd suggest
    trying something like 'a' and 's' instead of 'shift' and 'space'. This can also be useful for setting up
    controls on a gamepad that isn't an XBOX controller.

    To change your controls, navigate to your SMB directory. In Steam, go to


    /Steam/steamapps/common/super meat boy/. Open up buttonmap.cfg in a text editor, and change the
    keys as desired. You can use Windows' gamepad setup or trial and error to determine the correct
    buttons for a gamepad.
