Executive Summary

This report which is entitled with “CONSUMER PERCEPTION TOWARDS THE


ORGANIC FOOD” In this project researcher has described about the organic food and the
consumer perception towards organic food. Organic foods are those foods which are cultivated
in the land without using any chemicals like fertilizers, pesticides, hormones, etc. In order to
know about the perception of the consumer towards organic foods the researchers has
collected primary and secondary data from different sources. Researcher has divided whole
study into three portion; Preliminary materials, body of the report and supplementary material.
Second portion body of the report is divided into five chapters. In first chapter I have
included background of the study, introduction to the field, statement of the problem, objective
of the study, importance of the study, organization of the study, review of the literature
research methodology and major finding in summarization form. In the first chapter I have
included the introduction, under the introduction there are five sub categories they are back
ground of the study, statement of the problem, objective of the study, and significance of the
study and last is limitation of the study.
Further going on second chapter, I have shown the literature review which includes the
four sub topics. They are literature review, theoretical frame work, research question, and last
research hypothesis.
In the same way third chapter includes research methodology which includes research
methodology, research design and last research instrument.
In case of fourth chapter data analysis which includes data analysis, and descriptive
statistics. Where the data analysis includes reliability test, correlation test includes regression
analysis, hypothesis testing and multi-collinearity test. Same way descriptive statistics
includes gender, educational level, and descriptive frequency and purchase intention.
. The last chapter is the closing of the research whereby researcher has shown
summary of the finding, conclusion of the research and recommendation. h. By this, researcher
has completed a small research based on standard research format.
