MAKE UP ROOM

PRACTICE EXAMINATION
 Step by Step Make Up Room

1. Knock the door and identify your self. (3 times and 3

times knocks with 10 seconds space between)
2. Enter the room slowly and greet the guest. (it doesn’t
matter if there are no guest inside)

3. Open the curtain. (Day curtain / vitrage and night

curtain / black out).
4. Identify everything that belonging to the guest such as
cell phone and note book. (For the occupied room).

5. Check the mini bar and hotel property and report to

the Order Taker in case of consume, broke, or lost.
6. Stripping the bed and bath room.

7. Put all the glass to the wash basin.

8. Pour chemical to the toilet bowl and bath tub surface
and let it react.

9. Make up the bed properly.

10. Wash, clean and dry all of the glass.
11. Scrub, wash and dry the vanity counter.
12. Scrub, clean and dry the entire toilet surface. (Toilet
tank, toilet cover, toilet seat, toilet bowl, and area
behind toilet bowl).
13. Dusting all of the furniture by clockwise or anti
clockwise from top to down surface.

14. Refill the guest supplies and room amenities.

15. Change the towels. (Occupied rooms: change the
towels that putted in the bath tub or on the floor and
leave “make it tidy” the others).

16. Clean the room floor. (By vacuum cleaner / lobby

duster / broom).
17. Mop the floor (only for the parquette or marble or
tile floor)

18. Make the final checking and make sure that

everything is done perfectly
19. Clean the front of the door area.
20. Close the door properly.
