Method Statement for Waterproofing of Retaining Wall Joints

SURFACE PREPRATION

1. Dismantling of loose plaster/concrete. Making surface free from all dust debris oil and other
loose material, and cleaning the surface.
2. Dampen the surface with water, but it should not be saturated.

WATERPROOFING TREATMENT

1. Apply first primer coat of highly flexible upto 800% Liquid Membrane Super Fixit Apiguard BT
in the ratio (1Kg Super Fixit Apiguard BT: 250 to 300 ml Water). Let it dry for an hour.
2. Apply second coat of Super Fixit Apiguard BT (highly flexible upto 800% Liquid Membrane) in
the ratio (1Kg Super Fixit Apiguard BT : 100 to 150 ml Water). Let it dry for an hour.
3. Apply 2 coats of Super Fixit Apiguard NC (High Performance Waterproof Coating Compound)
in the ratio (1Kg Super Fixit Apiguard BT : 100 to 150 ml Water)
4. The width of all the applications should be 100mm(+/-10mm tolerance), the application should
be centered on the wall joints.
5. The finished joint should be seamless and shall not have any undulations visible to eye.
